Insurrection will be out on video in the UK shortly. The producers of the Star Trek movies have stated that they may will wait until the Star Wars trilogy has finished before the start on the tenth movie, so it may be a while before the next one.

05.02.99.

Insurrection has opened to luke-warm response and it is rumoured that the DS9 crew will be taking part in the tenth movie however this will not be happening for at least three years.

28.01.99.

Not only is Voyager going home next season but Kate Mulgrew has confirmed that she will be leaving then when her contract expires. However it has been reported that Paramount intend to film the seventh season back to back with the sixth while all contracts are still valid. Watch this space for the latest news.

Insurrections trailer is now showing at a theatre near you. It will open in the states in December and in the UK on New Years Day.

The new Star Trek film (Star Trek 9) Has now got it's title confirmed as

STAR TREK: INSURRECTION not Prime directive as was previously thought. It is also going to be more action adventure based and not as previously stated a romantic comedy.

Both Voyager and Deep space nine have been picked up for a Fifth and A Seventh season retrospectively however it should be the last for DS9 and rumours have it that voyager is returning home next season.
