"Mr Mulder they have been here for a very long time"
..
Welcome to the X Files page.
Staring David Duchvny and Gillian Anderson as FBI agents Fox Mulder and
Dana Scully, the series follow our heroes as they investigate the paranormal
and unexplainable phenomena. The X Files at it's best is thought provoking
and intelligent, it's worst you kind of wish it had been cancelled after
it's second season. (I think the show would have been better looked at
by future generations if it was) but then we would have never seen episodes
like 'Mustangs of a cigarette smoking man' (A great T.V. moment) and
many others of the following seasons. I'm Sorry but I have neither the
time nor the patience to go into all my views about which conspiracy theory
is true and which is not, but enjoy the news, information and episode guide
and remember the truth is out there !!!

29.05.00.
The FOX network has renewed the show for its
eighth season in its Sunday 9 PM timeslot. David Duchovny reprises his
role of Special Agent Fox Mulder and will appear in about half of the season's
episodes. Gillian Anderson returns as Special Agent Dana Scully, searching
for the abducted Mulder.
22.05.00.
Spinning off from "The X-Files," the Lone
Gunmen get their own series on the FOX network. Created by Chris Carter,
Frank Spotnitz, Vince Gilligan and John Shiban, the new show will air in
the beginning of 2001. Dean Haglund, Bruce Harwood and Tom Braidwood play
the three paranoid conspiracy theorists that form the editorial staff of
a government watchdog newspaper.
18.05.00
01.05.00.
The shows final episode will be broadcast
on the 21st of May 2000 and apparently Chris Carter has some surprises
for fans and casual viewers alike.
05.12.99.
The X Files will be ending with this season
despite talks from Fox to try and keep it running. WATCH THIS SPACE FOR
ALL MAJOR UPDATES.
06.02.99.
The X Files movie is now available on home
video and DVD world-wide and a new movie is due to shot after the completion
of the seventh and final season.
.
17.09.98.
The X Files Season 4 Box set is finally released
in the UK in mid October.
.
21.08.98.
Now that Fight the future is on general release
in most places, it is safe to say that this is a pretty fair effort from
The X Files team. It can only be described as an average two partner which
a much increased budget. Performances are as good as ever on all fronts,
with Martin Landau making a very welcome entrance into the franchise. There
are a couple of revelations in the film but maybe not as many as you would
expect, but by all means worth the price of a cinema ticket. I have been
told by people who have never seen the show before that they, not
only enjoyed it as an action film, but will also watch the show now that
they have seen the movie. - Now that can't be bad.
20.07.98.
The X Files opened at the number one spot
in US cinemas but dropped to a rather disappointing third place in it's
second week. The video of the End will be released in the UK before the
late August opening.
.
01.07.98.
The X files movie has already been revealed
in the states and will be in cinemas across the UK from the 21st August.
See below for the official cinematic poster.
.
01.07.98.
The X files will go to at least a seventh
season. But as from season six the show will be relocated to LA. The new
X files movie this summer contains a Mulder/Scully kiss however it is thought
that this scene will end up on the cutting room floor. Next season is also
to have only 20 episodes with less screen time for Mulder and Scully and
more characters to be introduced as the season goes on, For the latest
on the show and the movie .......... WATCH THIS SPACE.
